CALL FOR: This is an invitation call for poetry editors, scholars, professors and creative writing geniuses to be a part of a mammoth project on contemporary world poetry of major Diasporas.
WHAT IT IS NOT: This is not another anthology or a mere collective of poetry. This is a much ambitious and academically inclined project. The project will carry critical appreciations, notes, critiques, annotations of the lives of the selected poets, the contributing editors and works in general.
WHAT IT IS: This is a love intensive project such as Editors will have to hand pick contemporary poetry geniuses of his or her respective Diaspora. They should be able to draw enough material that can sustain both aesthetic and academic interests. Only serious applicants need proceed.
TELL ME MORE ABOUT IT:
Maximum number of Editors: 10
All editors are going to be mentioned as Contributing Editors
Each Editor must present a Folio of 10 poets with minimum 5 to maximum 8 poems
Works of the selected poets must be unpublished in any condition so as to avoid infringement of rights issues.
The Project offers academic credit as the collective will be an approx 500 pages manuscript in print edition.
The contributing Editors and selected Poets will receive a copy of the same, internationally couriered. No shipping charge.
Estimated time is August 2016 subject to finishing of the project on time.
For example, a poet born in Israel may be a resident of the US, is expected to represent Israeli Diaspora and not American.
All works submitted toward this project must be originally written in English unless one is willing to take added responsibility of translations.
